Dear members of The Book Club of Grosse Ile,
At long last we are hosting Ms. Suzanne Dalton for our second book club meeting of the season. She authored her memoir A Year Lost, A Life Gained: Fighting Breast Cancer With Wit, Humor, Friends and a Perky Poodle. We will gather on Friday, October 16 at 1 PM in the sanctuary of Grosse Ile Presbyterian Church. Please enter the church through the east entrance.
Ms. Dalton was to have been with us last spring when the stay-at-home order came down from our governor. But now we will finally be able to see and hear her live and in person. Please make every effort to be with us and welcome her to our island.
Following health protocols, we will all wear our masks and social distance ourselves in that beautiful, open space. No refreshments will be served for safety’s sake before or after the meeting. Thanks for your support in adjusting and adapting to the new normal.
